Your association at work:
6/23/2007 & 6/30/2007 For 2 Saturdays members of The Association and youth council cleaned the median at Town 'N Country Blvd near Hillsborough Ave and planted Weedilias, These are drought tolerant plants that will reduce our overall costs for maintaining the medians. Our thanks to the Budhist Temple for allowing us to use their water.
5/6/07 Palm Tree Trimming: We received a $600. grant from the Hillsborough County Sheriffs office to trim the Palm trees along Woodbridge, on Elm, On Town "N country Blvd, Northbridge and Riverwood. This will only partially cover the cost of pruning, so Association members and residents spent a day trimming the smaller trees and reducing the cost of the overall project. We have now received the grant and will be taking bids for the remaining trees. Pictures

1/13/07 We had a successful project this past Saturday with the Youth Council.  Rob & Fran Gamester and about 15 teens converged on the medians on Woodbridge and trimmed, pruned and dug up the dead and dying plants we had there.  We had neighbors that allowed the debris to be placed in front of their house for pickup.
Representing the Civic Association (and working) were Bob Hood, Joan Hazelgrove, Diane Fenimore and Paul McShea.  The kids worked hard and the medians look a lot better for the effort. We thank the Youth Council for their contribution.
